For the 2024-2025 school year, Ms. Thompson will be our Family School Wellness Worker

I am so excited to be part of the River Valley School team! I am  Mrs. Sarah Thompson, and I will be the new Family School Wellness Worker at RVS. I come with a background of various roles working with children, as well as Addictions Counselling working with adults. However, my passion has led me back to working with children and youth, and I am so thrilled to be here. 

I am an Olds transplant (originally from BC, but in Alberta since 2007). You can often find me out in Mountain View County on our acreage with my horse and mini donkey, or around town with my husband, 2 kiddos and our family dog.
