For the 2024-2025 school year Mrs. Gunderson will be our Student Support Lead

I am thrilled to be joining the River Valley School team this year! The Student Support Lead is a new role in Chinook's Edge School Division and I will be supporting staff, students and their families throughout the year with a focus on social emotional wellness. For the past three years I have been supporting Chinook's Edge schools as a Social Emotional Specialist and am pleased to have more time to spend directly in River Valley School. My own three children attend River Valley and I truly believe this is a great place for learning and developing new skills. 

Outside of school I can often be found going on outdoor adventures with my children, family and friends. We love traveling to rodeos for the kids to compete and spending time at the lake. I am looking forward to a great year and please don't hesitate to connect to chat about social emotional wellness for your child and family.
