Family Literacy Day -- Tues., Jan. 30

As part of our drive to maintain, promote and engage student interest in reading, our school is celebrating Family Literacy Day on January 30th.

On this special day, K-5 students can come to school dressed as a favourite character from any book as well as bring in their favourite book, artifact or stuffy.  For more ideas, google “Character Dress Up Day”.  Also, during this day the children will be participating in lots of exciting activities, sharing their own favourite book from home, sharing teacher’s favourite books, and listening to readers from within the Sundre community.

Reading a different book every evening, in preparation would be great! So get thinking and reading! We look forward to seeing your child dressed up for the special day on Tuesday, January 30th.

Thank you for your cooperation and support of this day!
